Savory Green Beans
- 1 lb of fresh green beans
- 1 clove of chopped fresh garlic
- ½ of a red onion or 2 shallots (I used both)
- 2 tbsp of soy sauce
- Red pepper flakes
- Olive oil
- Saute green beans in olive oil on medium heat with lid on for 15 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes.
- Remove lid and add onion, garlic, soy sauce and red pepper flakes to taste.
- Cook for another 15-20 minutes, or until desired. (I like mine well done)
